somewhere between before and now

heres a picture of me ! incase you all forgot what i look like !!!!!! was computer-less for a LONG TIME, it seemed like one of the longest weeks of my life. slowest week of my life.

Life is pretty busy, but seriously thank god i have a job. i can't even begin to imagine the amounts of money i've spent over this holidays (and it's not even finished yet!) or should i say the amounts of money i WILL spend. and also 3 months of holidays in BRISBANE is extremely boring. its ok if you go overseas for the majority of your holiday, but 3 months in brisbane is HELL. there are pretty much 3-4 main shopping centres where you can go for amusement, and theres no way in hell 3-4 places is enough to fill 3 FRIGIN MONTHS of holidays :(

but luckily i have work which takes up most of my time ~ THANK GOD. i seriously was scared that i would finish all the asian dramas that have been released. EVER. 


uni offers have been released, i was offered a place in QUT law/business, but i think i will decline it and hope for an offer in uq commerce! i don't really know why but im really interested in commerce. it just sounds like an interesting course. i have no idea about my plans to move interstate because uni offers from interstate haven't come out yet. 


anyway i plan to upload my pictures from the past few months in a series of mini posts :3
don't know why i don't have many pictures though. not even many camwhore pictures which is VERY odd for me... hmmm~


and also! i would like to wish everyone good luck for this year and congratz for getting into whatever uni courses you got into!

happy new year!

so another year has passed. yet another year for me to learn from. 
2010 has been a year full of up and downs (mainly downs haha). 
pretty much i can wrap 2010 in a few phrases: 
going to school, 
breaking friendships, 
starting and ending relationships, 
spending lucrative amounts of money on useless junk, 
working, 
wasting my life on the computer, 
eating junk and getting fat. 

i really hope 2011 will be slightly more eventful, interesting and fun. And hopefully it will be a lot better than 2010 (cos franking 2010 sucked hairy balls). 
the thought did pass through my mind, the lazy thought that "oh i should just stay home cos im lazy to go out and hang out with people, since everyone is overseas" 
but then i thought about it. why should i let 2011 begin on a crappy start just because 2010 was an utter piece of shit. 


anyway heres some "new years resolutions" well not really i would say they are more goals or things that i hope will happen in 2011


what i hope 2011 will bring me ~
a larger friendship circle~~~~
allow me to discover more hobbies (other than wasting my life on fb / msn)
my P's (fat chance haha) 
quit msn 
more money to save ~!!!!!!!!

HOHOHO another uneventful christmas has passed. though my mum did try to make a "roast chicken and vege" lunch dish... needless to say i still prefer her rice.
anyway i think promises should be banished.


do people even ever keep their word when they promise to do something? 
hardly ever. if you're going to promise something make sure you have the means to deliver. getting the persons hopes up and then letting them down is just cruel. 


anyway after graduating from highschool i've had alot of time to think about life. life in general, life after school, uni life etc.

misconceptions?

im pretty sure a lot / most people have seen these "shocking" taiwan chat shows where they show popular online models from 無名 aka wretch (taiwan social network). And they show their 'transformation' where they have before and after makeup shots and also how they apply their makeup. 


i personally find these shows really interesting (haha i wish i could do makeup that well), but theres one thing i really hate and its the bloody hosts! They all seem to be so incredibly rude!!!!!!
they will say things to the girls (when they are makeup-less) like "your eyes are so small can you please open them", "are you sure you're the same person", "when your husband sees you without makeup he will immediately file for a divorce"


fail!!! so rude  wtf =_="


and also they give young girls / all girls the wrong idea.
i remember watching one where they said something along the lines of
"most guys say they prefer to have a girlfriend that wears minimal makeup so when she takes off the makeup they won't be like omg shes so ugly. but girls have never thought that at least if you wear makeup you have a chance to meet your boyfriend, because if you didn't put makeup at all your boyfriend would never want to know you"


like wtf? 
they are literally telling girls that guys will only like you when you put makeup on. anyway i totally disagree with them, i think they are ignorant and rude AND giving people the wrong impression~


now comes the big question that i guess people will ask, "oh then why do YOU wear makeup for then"
WELL
makeup is fun :)
i think every girl wants to look good and makeup makes you feel good.
but you shouldn't be beautifying yourself to make other people happy, beautify yourself FOR YOURSELF.
AND ANY GUY THAT ONLY CARES ABOUT LOOKS IS A FUCKER.

movieworld

so i went to the movieworld horror night last night (thankyou for charlie for organising)
tis pretty alright overall minus the transport woes / horrors 


so we went on
scooby doo ride
wild west (x2) - bad choice because it was incredibly windy and cold and WW is a water ride 
saw maze
journey to the centre of the earth 3d movie


and thats about it cos we had to wait about 1 hr + to get into each ride / attraction  and the whole thing only went from 5 - 11, and outside rides closed at 9 =_="


anyway in the saw maze i realised you see the "true" colours of people. you see if your friends would actually help you when in the face of "danger", per-se. 
you know how in horror movie theres always that one friend thats escapes but ALWAYS runs back to save his / her friend. yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnah
im pretty sure that shit doesn't happen in real life. =_="

Insignificance

Since I now have my flashy little iPhone and schoolwork isnt that bad I guess I have no good excuses to not blog anymore. Not that I think of it as a chore but seriously sometimes it scares me when I think of potentially who may be reading my blog.

I just had a thought whilst sitting on the bus. Yes I am on the bus at 8 on a saturday morning, slightly shocking and very ridiculous. But I just had the thought, minus if u were a superstar of some sort, but who would remember you when your gone. When you die do you just fade into some sort of insignificant being that no one cares about anymore and long forgot anyway?

I mean in all seriousness who wants to be forgotten

job hunt~

have been job hunting for the last few days :(
it is SO hard to find a job especially one that you like... sigh~ anyone know any places with openings? i applied for a lot of places but i doubt i`ll get a call back because im probably not their "type". 


i was also told today by a good friend that i lost my smile..or more that i used to smile a whole lot more... when was it that being unhappy became normal for me? i don't remember....

haha but yeah :( will our friendships with each other change because we now have bfs/gfs?? :( i hope not....~ but inevitably the time that each person has in a week is only 24 x 7 and the more people they have to split it between the less time each person gets~
